| CMDB (OCS Inventory) An open source solution for setting up, automatically updating, and monitoring lists and the configuration of devices. MDB (Configuration Management Database) is a source of information for all components of the information system. In the ITIL context, CMDC represents an authorised configuration of important components of the information environment. The main aim of CMDB is to help an organization or a company to understand the relationship between the above-mentioned components and the traceability of their configuration. CMDB is a basic component of ITIL business process – device management. Nagios The Nagios solution is used for the effective control of devices and automatic reporting. Nagios is an open source software application used for control via a network. Nagios enables the reporting of errors and deviations from the normal functioning of devices.
